The drive for digital transformation at Nindya Karya was not only born from the demands of industry 4.0, but was also supported by management's commitment to implementing digital transformation. As stated in the digital transformation policy number 0007/DIRUT/KPTS/DSTII/01/2021, this support certainly provides a breath of fresh air for the acceleration of digital transformation in the company, which was previously initiated by the Decree of the Board of Directors regarding the Digitalization of Work Processes in PT Nindya Karya Number 0484/DIRUT/KPTS/SEKPER/07/2020. Therefore, it is important to implement digital transformation, one of which is through optimizing the use of technology in daily work.

The RTI Department consists of 3 main sections, namely Research & Development, Infrastructure & Data Security and Digitalization. With a total of 31 personnel. The Research & Development section focuses on managing and ensuring the implementation of innovation activities, intellectual property, research and development of construction technology. The Infrastructure & Data Security Division focuses on ensuring the availability of reliable IT infrastructure technology support to support the availability of IT services in the Company with good information security risk management. The Digitalization Division focuses on the implementation of digital technology that can support the implementation of the company's business operations. The composition of functions in the IT sector is the result of assessments and follow-up studies from IT Maturity consultants.

In implementing IT governance, NK refers to the best practice COBIT 2019, where an independent assessment process has been carried out since 2021 with an initial value of 3.33 and a re-assessment was carried out by adding the number of objectives in 2023, so that the final score was 3.79. As a form of compliment to PER-02/MBU/03/2023, Nindya Karya also continues to align the IT Master Plan (IT Strategic Plan) with the existing RJPP. Of course, we also strengthen this with a digital transformation roadmap and an IT governance maturity roadmap.
