Commemorating the 76th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Nindya Karya Joins the Ceremony Online (online)

Jakarta - Nindya participated in the commemoration of the 76th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in 2021 which was organized by the Minister of State Secretary online on the Presidential Secretariat's youtube channel with the theme "Indonesia is Resilient, Indonesia Grows" (17/8).

The hybrid ceremony (physical and virtual), at the central level was also held in a limited manner at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, which was led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Jokowi.

In his remarks, Mr. Jokowi said that today 76 years ago, the red and white flag was flown and the national anthem reverberated in the motherland as a sign that Indonesia's beloved homeland has become independent.

It should be noted that the theme for this 76th Indonesian Independence Day is "Indonesia is Resilient, Indonesia Grows". The theme invites us all to stay strong in the face of all trials and then slowly grow better. This is the second year we celebrate Indonesian Independence Day in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Therefore, we carry out the ceremony by complying with health protocols to prevent transmission.

In fact, the meaning of independence in a situation like this is to fight to fight Covid-19 together by following the advice from the government, tightening health protocols so that they can be free to return to their normal activities.
