Namlea – PT Nindya Karya has officially commenced the construction of Namlea Regional Public Hospital (RSUD Namlea) in Buru Regency, Maluku Province, through a groundbreaking ceremony held on Monday (July 17). The event was attended by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin; Governor of Maluku, Hendrik Lewerissa; Regent of Buru, Ikram Umasugi; and Senior Vice President of the Building Division at PT Nindya Karya, Septian Fakhruddin. This strategic project aims to improve access to and the quality of healthcare services in eastern Indonesia.
In his remarks, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin emphasized that building hospitals in remote and archipelagic regions is a national priority to ensure equitable healthcare services across the country.
“We no longer want to see people risk their lives simply because there is no adequate healthcare facility nearby,” said the Minister.
As part of its contribution to the national priority program in the health sector outlined in the Asta Cita vision, Nindya Karya actively supports the development of equitable and high-quality healthcare facilities. The Namlea Hospital project is a concrete step in Nindya’s support for the Healthy Indonesia vision, particularly in underdeveloped and border regions, to accelerate the achievement of sustainable development in the health sector.
