Earning the Blessings of Ramadan, NINDYA Holds Nuzulul Qur'an and Donations for 300 Orphans

JAKARTA - In order for NINDYA to achieve blessings in the Holy Month of Ramadan, NINDYA is holding a Nuzulul Quran activity as well as giving compensation and gifts to 300 East Jakarta orphans (3/5).

The activities carried out through the NINDYA PEDULI program in collaboration with the NINDYA Islamic Da'wah Coordinating Board (BKDI) were carried out in a hybrid manner, where a number of orphan representatives together with NINDYA management attended face-to-face events at the Baitus Syuhada Mosque with limited invitations, while other participants attended the event virtual.

Vice President of the Secretariat & Public Relations of NINDYA M. Maududy Ary who acted as Chair of the Committee said that the donation for orphans through the NINDYA Peduli program is NINDYA's commitment to always provide benefits to all levels of society, especially for orphans in the blessed month of Ramadan.

According to Maududy, this activity is routinely carried out every year, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this activity of donating for orphans in 2021 is carried out within the limitations of health protocols. Participants are also required to wear masks, wash their hands and keep their distance.

On this occasion, he acted as a speaker, Ustadz Abdul Muta'ali Ph.d. who said that the Covid-19 pandemic had indeed torn apart economic and social relations between humans. However, this condition should not be discouraged, instead it is used as a momentum to share with others, one of which is through the provision of compensation. The hope is, with this event it can further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood as fellow children of the nation (ukhuwah wathaniyah) and fellow Muslims (ukhuwah Islamiyah).

In line with the tausiah delivered by ustadz, the President Director of NINDYA Haedar A. Karim in his speech argued that helping orphans around the company environment is our responsibility together as fellow Muslims.
