Encouraging Equal Energy Distribution in Eastern Indonesia, Nindya Karya Officially Begins Construction of the Maumere Fuel Terminal

Maumere (18/5) – PT Nindya Karya through a consortium with PT Bangun Bejana Baja (KSO NK-BBB) officially began the construction of the Maumere Fuel Terminal which is part of the National Strategic Project under the supervision of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. This project was marked by a Kick Off Meeting held at Capa Resort, Maumere, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This activity became an initial milestone for Nindya Karya in strengthening its contribution to the development of energy infrastructure in eastern Indonesia.

Fuel Facilities Project Manager, Daniel Hutasoit, served as the Work Supervisor, while Muhammad Hariyansyah as VP Infrastructure Management & Project (IMP) acted as the Work Director. This project is the implementation of the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 2157 K/10/MEM/2017 regarding the assignment to PT Pertamina (Persero) in the construction and operation of fuel and LPG storage facilities in areas requiring strengthening of energy infrastructure.

Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Heppy Wulansari, said that this project is a strategic step to answer the challenges of energy distribution in the eastern region.

“Energy security is not only about the availability of supply, but also equal access for all regions. Through the construction of the Maumere BBM Terminal, we strive to provide reliable, efficient, and inclusive energy infrastructure,” he said.

Meanwhile, Senior Vice President of QHSE PT Nindya Karya, Dedikasi Firansyah, said that the Maumere BBM Terminal project is not just a physical development, but also a real manifestation of national energy equality.

“We are proud to be trusted to carry out this strategic project. This is a symbol of the state's presence in the eastern region through equitable energy development,” said Dedikasi.

He emphasized that this project is in line with the company's commitment to supporting equitable and sustainable National Development. Nindya Karya also pays attention to synergy between BUMN and close collaboration with all stakeholders as the key to the success of this project. The company is optimistic that the construction of the Maumere BBM Terminal can be completed on time and become a successful example in building vital infrastructure that not only supports national energy security, but also encourages social and economic growth in the community in Eastern Indonesia.
