Jakarta - Nindya Karya conducted an ISO 19650:2018 Kitemark Renewal Audit for the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Management System on March 6-7 & 13-14, 2025. This audit aims to ensure that the BIM information management system runs consistently according to international standards, while identifying areas of improvement and innovation.

The audit, which was conducted in a hybrid manner, was opened by SVP of Risk Management and Systems, Taufik Hidayat, who emphasized the importance of implementing BIM as part of efforts to increase the efficiency and accuracy of data management in construction projects.

The audit conducted by PT BSI Group Indonesia as the external auditor, focused on several crucial aspects, including verifying the procedures, policies, and tools used to ensure that they remain in accordance with regulations. In addition, the security, accuracy, and accessibility of BIM data are of primary concern to ensure that only authorized parties can manage the information. With this audit, the organization is expected to be able to implement more advanced digital technologies and processes in the planning, design, and management of building assets, while maintaining the quality of project output according to client specifications and expectations.

The benefits of this audit are not only limited to compliance with the ISO 19650:2018 standard, but also provide added value to the organization. Kitemark re-certification strengthens the reputation as a professional and reliable entity in BIM data management. With a structured system, the risk of information coordination errors can be minimized, so that the potential for wasting time and costs on construction projects can be significantly reduced.
