Holding BUMN Danareksa and BAZNAS Distribute Qurban to 3,000 Families in Makassar

MAKASSAR (7/6) — In the spirit of Eid al-Adha 1446 H, Holding BUMN Danareksa together with the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) distributed qurban animals to 3,000 families in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

Taking place in the Makassar Industrial Area (KIMA), Holding BUMN Danareksa this year handed over 11 Limousin cows weighing 550–600 kg and 10 goats weighing 45–50 kg which were then distributed by BAZNAS to the surrounding community in need.

The Head of BAZNAS RI for National Coordination, KH. Achmad Sudrajat, Lc, MA, expressed his appreciation to Holding Danareksa for the trust given in distributing this qurban.

"The Kurban Berkah program creates an ideal collaboration between the business world and zakat institutions, which is expected to be a model in driving the people's economy and reducing social inequality," said Achmad.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Danareksa (Persero), Yadi Jaya Ruchandi, emphasized that this collaboration is in line with the company's commitment to creating sustainable social value.

"Through Kurban Berkah, Holding BUMN Danareksa is present in the midst of people in need, especially on this Eid al-Adha. Hopefully what we distribute can bring benefits and positive impacts to those who receive it," he said.
