Hi Nindya People

This time, we will discuss the Serayu Regional Irrigation Network (DI) Improvement Project for the Cilacap and Doplang Irrigation Channels that Nindya Karya Yuk built.

The project belonging to a Certain Non-Vertical Work Unit (SNVT) for the implementation of the Serayu Opak Water Utilization Network of the Ministry of PUPR began to be worked on by Nindya in 2017 with a work period of 1485 calendar days. The scope of work consists of handling main canals with a length of 40,002 meters, secondary canals with a length of 34,032 meters, carrying canals (SI. Cilacap and SI. Doplang) with a length of 4,589 meters and tertiary canals (SI. Cilacap, SI. Doplang and SI. Maos) with a length of 23,737 meters.

With the completion of the Nindya project, of course, it can provide broad benefits to the surrounding community in supporting the agricultural sector through the supply of water from irrigation, especially when the rice fields experience a drought that coincides with the planting season. DI Serayu itself has the potential to support rice production of 5 tons per hectare and 259 thousand tons per year. In addition, this project is also expected to provide other benefits for the surrounding community.
