Nindya and the Brantas River Basin to Plant Trees at the Tugu Dam in Commemoration of the 75th PUPR Service Day *

East Java - Still in the framework of the 75th PUPR Service Day, tree planting has been carried out simultaneously throughout the infrastructure of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), tree planting activities "Greening on Sustainable PUPR Infrastructure" were also carried out at the Dam project site Tugu, East Java (5/12).
Attended by the Head of the Brantas River Basin Center Muhammad Rizal, Acting Regent Benny represented by Assistant II Yudy Sunarto, Trenggalek District Officials and Project Manager for the Tugu Karya Bangun Arifanto Dam. This event was broadcast throughout Indonesia via virtual zoom and witnessed by the Minister of PUPR, Mr. Basuki Hadimuljono.
In his remarks, the Minister of PUPR, Basuki Hadimuljono, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the performance of all levels and partners of the Ministry of PUPR in 2020, considering that most of the development targets and tasks entrusted to the Ministry of PUPR can continue despite the difficult times faced in the Covid-19 Pandemic. that has been happening since last March.
The activity continued with tree planting led by the Head of BBWS Brantas, Muhammad Rizal, conveying that the chosen planting location was in the green belt area of the Tugu Dam built by Nindya. It is hoped that the impact of planting thousands of tree seedlings with economic value can be directly felt by the community.
