Timika - After previously NINDYA was entrusted with building several infrastructure in Asmat Regency, Papua by the Directorate General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of PUPR, this time NINDYA was again trusted by the Ministry of PUPR to work on building bridges and roads in the area. This project, which is owned by the Directorate General of Highways of the PUPR Ministry, has a scope of work to construct a suspension bridge and pile slab road.

This commitment was realized in the form of signing a project contract between the Directorate General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR, PJN Region VI Satker of Papua Province, Manaham Manik Bachtiar as Commitment Making Officer and PT Nindya Karya (Persero) by the General Manager of Region V, Eko Suhartono which was held at the Bina Marga Hall. , Merauke, Papua.

The bridge and road projects are spread across six districts, namely the 42m suspension bridge in the village of Syuru, the Kampung Kaye road and boat moorings, Yepem Village road and boat moorings, Yos Sudarso Field and Yepem IPA road in Agats District. Construction of roads and boat moorings in Basim Village in Fayit District. Construction of a 96m suspension bridge in Sawaerma Village, Sawa Erma District. Construction of the Atsj Village road, Atsj District. Construction of a 120m suspension bridge and Jalan Kampung Heinam, Pantai Kasuari District. Construction of the 72m suspension bridge in Yerfum Village, Der Koumor District and the construction of the Jalan Segare Village, Ayip District.

This project aims to improve connectivity facilities for residents in Asmat Regency to facilitate mobility of residents where previously residents used bridges and roads made of wood. This project is also expected to be completed according to the set schedule so that its use can be immediately felt by residents.
