Jakarta – PT Nindya Karya continues to improve the competence of human resources through the Nindya Learning Center, which this time collaborates with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Division to hold an In-House Training entitled “Upskilling PIC Project Procurement.” This training took place on September 26 and 27, 2024 at the Nindya Building Hall, Jakarta.

This training activity was attended by procurement managers from various Nindya Karya projects throughout Indonesia, as well as representatives from related Business Units. The aim is to strengthen understanding of the latest procedures, regulations, and technology in the procurement of goods and services, especially those relevant to construction projects carried out by Nindya Karya.

In his remarks, the Director of Finance and Risk Management of PT Nindya Karya, Sri Haryanto, emphasized the importance of this training as a strategic step to improve the performance of procurement managers. "Through this training, participants are expected to not only be able to carry out their roles more effectively, overcome various obstacles, and facilitate project implementation, but also understand good governance. The implementation of ethical standards and compliance with applicable regulations, both within the internal environment of Nindya Karya and the Danareksa holding and the government, are essential," said Sri Haryanto.

The training participants received direct training from the Senior Vice President and Vice President of the SCM Division, as well as materials from three expert speakers. They are M Yusuf Danadibrata, Advisor to the Asset Management Company; Ahmad Arwani, CEO of Kinerja Unggul Consulting; and Danod Didjaya, SCM Advisor from ABEMAS. The speakers shared in-depth insights regarding strategic, ethics-based procurement governance, as well as technology that drives efficiency and accuracy in procurement projects.

This training not only focuses on developing hard skills, but also encourages the improvement of soft skills such as leadership, appropriate decision-making, and effective communication skills in the project environment. Thus, procurement PICs will be better prepared to face challenges in the field and support the achievement of project targets optimally.

With this training, Nindya Karya hopes to continue to improve the capabilities of the procurement team that has a key role in the success of construction projects. The synergy between improving competence and implementing technology will be the foundation for Nindya to advance further in supporting national infrastructure development.
