Nindya Karya Signs New Contract for Cibeet Dam Project, West Java

JAKARTA – PT Nindya Karya signed a new contract for the Cibeet Dam construction package project in Cariu District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Represented by General Manager of Infrastructure Division 1 Bambang Asmoro, the signing of the collaboration was carried out at the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing Building on Thursday (31/8).

The construction of the Cibeet Dam can hold up to 81.84 million cubic meters of water and provides various benefits, including reducing flooding that occurs downstream of the Citarum River and supplying irrigation water for 1,036 hectares of land. Moreover, the construction of this dam can support the potential utilization of a power plant of 0.25 MW.

Apart from the main dam building, in this area there will also be supporting facilities built, such as a 1.97 km long dam entrance road and relocation of the provincial road on the left side of the pool along 8.88 km.

The construction of this dam project comes from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) purely for the 2023-2028 Fiscal Year (FY) and is carried out through the Operational Cooperation of PT Nindya Karya, PT Adhi Karya, and PT Bahagia Bangunnusa with an implementation time of 1860 calendar days and a maintenance period of 365 calendar day.

Through this trust, Nindya is committed to completing this project on time and with the right quality to accelerate flood management in Jakarta and its supporting areas.
