Nindya Karya together with 8 other construction SOEs synergize to create independence and national energy security

PT PLN involved Nindya with 8 other construction BUMNs and the Ministry of PUPR to work together in realizing the Independence and National Energy Security as well as the Movement for the Use of Induction Stoves and Data Integration for Subsidized KPR Electricity Services.

This collaboration was carried out at the Office of the Ministry of BUMN through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between PLN, 9 Construction SOEs and the Ministry of PUPR (31/03).

The 9 SOEs involved, namely, PT Nindya Karya (Persero), PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) ), PT Amartha Karya (Persero), PT Brantas Karya (Persero), and Perum Perumnas. And 1 BUMN Banking, namely PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero).

In his remarks, BUMN Minister Erick Thohir explained that the BUMN synergy was a concrete step for the government to encourage increased national energy security in order to realize clean energy. More specifically, PLN's Managing Director, Zulkifli Zaini, said that with induction stoves, we can save energy by up to 19 percent. The use of induction stoves is targeted at one million customers this year.

There were 3 agendas for signing the MoU agreement witnessed by BUMN Minister Ercik Thohir, PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimulyono, BUMN Deputy II Kartika Wirjoatmodjo and PLN President Director Zulkifli Zaini. The agenda includes a Memorandum of Understanding with 9 Construction SOEs, Amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding between BTN and PLN, and a Cooperation Agreement between PLN and the Ministry of PUPR.

By signing this memorandum of understanding, PT Nindya Karya (Persero) is ready to contribute, in supporting the movement to use induction stoves and realizing clean energy.
