Nindya Karya's Emergency Response to Natural Disasters in West Sumatra

Nindya Karya, through the Nindya Peduli program, helps survivors of landslides and flash floods that hit West Sumatra. The disaster that occurred on Saturday, May 11, 2024, caused significant damage in several districts in the West Sumatra region.

The assistance distributed includes logistics, drinking water, survival kits, and hygiene kits. In addition, Nindya Karya also set up a public kitchen to meet the needs of the community affected by the disaster.

All assistance was handed over by Nindya Karya representatives who were around the disaster area. The presence of a team in the field ensured that assistance was distributed quickly and on target, so that it could immediately ease the burden on the victims.

The distribution of this assistance reflects Nindya Karya's contribution and social responsibility towards communities affected by disasters in Indonesia. Nindya Karya will continue to be ready in various humanitarian activities and environmental concerns, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) Environmental Pillar Number 11 program, namely Handling Climate Change and Natural Disasters. This commitment shows that Nindya Karya is not only focused on infrastructure development, but also on the welfare and safety of the surrounding community.
