Nindya Karya carried out the planting of 1000 trees through the Social and Environmental Responsibility program which was carried out within the Nindya Karya Project for Drinking Water Supply System Dendeng River, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (23/6). This activity is in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goal (TPB) No. 15 on protecting terrestrial ecosystems and is part of the company's Creating Shared Value (CSV) program.

The tree planting was attended by the Mayor of Kupang, Jefirstson R. Riwu Kore and his staff. This 1000 tree planting activity is strongly supported by the Kupang City government and is in line with the Kupang Mayor's program, namely the Green Kupang Movement.

These 1000 tree seedlings will be planted at several points around the project. The seeds planted include white teak, calliandra, sengon, flamboyant, trembesi, tabebuya, and avocado. This type of seed is a type of perennial plant that is beneficial for the environment, such as resisting soil erosion and the ability of the soil to absorb water. Planting the seeds is done in stages.

The planting of 1000 trees can increase the greenery in the project environment, which in turn will affect the water quality. This is a form of Nindya Karya's commitment in implementing green construction in the Nindya project environment.
