Officially built, Nindya Karya lays the first stone for the Velodrome-Manggarai LRT construction project

Nindya Karya officially implemented the Velodrome-Manggarai LRT Construction Project which was marked by the laying of the first stone (30/10). Symbolically, the first stone was laid by the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi who was present representing the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) together with (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono by pressing the bell button. and the heavy equipment starts to be operated.

The groundbreaking was carried out in front of the Velodrome Station, Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, which is the phase 1B project for the Velodrome-Manggarai line.

On the same occasion, the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi conveyed the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, namely that the existence of integrated transportation, MRT, LRT, KRL and high-speed trains, is expected to reduce congestion. increase employment opportunities and trigger economic movement.

The President Director of PT Nindya Karya Moeharmein Z. Chaniago was also present at this activity. The scope of work carried out by Nindya Karya is in phase 1B which stretches for 6.4 km at five stations, namely Rawamangun Pemuda Station, BPKP Pramuka Station, Pramuka Market Station, Matraman Station and Manggarai Station.

This is a form of implementation of AKHLAK values, namely the trust that the Ministry of PUPR and the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) continue to give to Nindya Karya in building public transportation that will facilitate community mobility.
