PON XXI Venue Worked on by Nindya Karya Inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia and Achieves Muri Record

Banda Aceh, September 9, 2024 — The venue for the 21st National Sports Week (PON) worked on by WIKA GEDUNG-NINDYA KSO was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. The inauguration, which was centered at the H. Dimurthala Stadium, Banda Aceh City, marked the completion of a number of venues that had been prepared to support the implementation of PON XXI, which will be held in the Aceh and North Sumatra regions.

In his remarks, President Jokowi said that since 2023, the government has renovated and built 18 PON venues in Aceh Province. These venues are spread across several regions, namely Banda Aceh City, Aceh Besar Regency, Pidie Regency, and Central Aceh Regency.

The scope of work includes Harapan Bangsa Stadium, H. Dimurthala Stadium, Jasdam Tennis Court, Polda Tennis Court, SHB Complex Tennis Court, Lambung Tennis Court, SHB Complex Fencing Hall, SHB Complex PABSI Building, KONI Aceh Sports Hall, Bale Meuseuraya Aceh, USK Mini Stadium, and Lambung Field. The work received a Charter of Appreciation from the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) for the record of Renovation and Reconstruction of PON Infrastructure and the Most Sports Branches.

With the inauguration of the venue and the award from MURI, it is Nindya Karya's commitment to supporting and contributing to national and international sporting events and providing a positive impact on the development of sports in Indonesia.

Also present at the event were representatives of Nindya Karya, President Director of PT Nindya Karya Moeharmein Zein Chaniago, Director of Operations 2 of PT Nindya Karya Arif Putranto, Senior Vice President of Building Division of PT Nindya Karya Septian Fakhruddin, Senior Vice President of QHSE of PT Nindya Karya Dedication Firansyah, Vice President of Production 2 of Building Division of PT Nindya Karya Dheni Mahardian and Deputy Project Manager of Renovation and Redevelopment Project of PON XXI Venue in Banda Aceh City Firmansyah Saputro.
