President Jokowi Visits Herbal and Horticulture Technology Science Park Phase 2 Developed by Nindya Karya

HUMBANG HASUNDUTAN - President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) conducted a working visit to the Herbal and Horticulture Technology Science Park (TSTH2) Phase 2 in Humbang Hasundutan Regency, (16/10).
Also present during the President's visit were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, President Director of Nindya Karya Moeharmein Zein Chaniago, Director of Operations 2 Arif Putranto, Senior Vice President of Building Division Septian Fakhruddin, Corporate Secretary Alfriady Zuliansyah, Senior Vice President of QHSE Dedication Firansyah and Vice President of Production 2 of Building Division Dheni Mahardian.
In addition to conducting a working visit, Jokowi also inaugurated the Agricultural Genomic Research Center. During his visit, Jokowi said that the impact of climate change is not only related to hot air, but also decreased food production. With the opening of this location, the country's agricultural productivity can increase.
"I am very happy with this location, so that later this location can help Indonesia increase agricultural productivity," said Jokowi
Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan said that with the existence of TSTH, Indonesia no longer needs to import rare plant seeds because they can be managed independently.
TSTH2 Phase 2 which is being worked on by Nindya Karya is prepared as a location for cultivating and developing herbal plants from all over Indonesia, conducting research and making herbal medicines on an international scale and is also planned to become a research center and source of superior seeds for agriculture in Humbang Hasundutan Regency, especially horticultural plants.
