QHSE Evaluation Meeting for Quarter 3 of 2024: Improving Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards in the Construction Industry

The QHSE Division of PT Nindya Karya held a Quarter 3 Evaluation Meeting for Quarter 3 of 2024 in the Hall on the 9th Floor of the Nindya Building on September 24-25, 2024. This event was attended by HSE personnel from various projects throughout Indonesia and aimed to strengthen the understanding and implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in the construction industry.

The main focus of this meeting was the socialization of the importance of industrial hygiene and environmental preservation, both in the work area and in the area around the project. In addition, QHSE materials relevant to field conditions were discussed, including the importance of maintaining a safe and comfortable work environment, the implementation of HSE policies & HSE Golden Rules, to HSE performance evaluations in each division. The discussion also involved an in-depth understanding of Subcontractor Audits, which are an important aspect in maintaining safety standards throughout the project.

The President Director of PT Nindya Karya, Moeharmein Zein Chaniago, emphasized the importance of this event as a forum to prevent incidents in the field. “This evaluation meeting is an opportunity to strengthen our commitment to safety standards and comply with the latest applicable policies. Every HSE personnel in all projects must understand and implement this consistently,” he said when opening the event.

The first day of the event was opened with a sharing session hosted by Ir. Ruly Eko Ardianto, S.T., Vice President of K3 PT Petrokimia Gresik, who shared his experience in implementing HSE in his company, providing new insights for the participants.

On the second day, meeting participants conducted benchmarking to The Premier MTH Jakarta project managed by Adhi Persada Gedung. This benchmarking aims to identify innovations and best practices that can be adapted, including the use of technology for monitoring work safety, the application of industrial hygiene in the project environment, and environmentally friendly construction management.

Through this 3rd Quarter Evaluation Meeting, PT Nindya Karya emphasized its commitment to maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in each of its projects. By continuing to innovate and learn from best practices in the industry, it is hoped that improving QHSE performance will not only benefit the company but also the safety and welfare of workers and the sustainability of the surrounding environment.
