SOE Minister Supports the Construction of KIM Plaza and Waste Water Treatment Plant

Nindya Karya together with three SOEs built the Medan Industrial Estate (KIM) Plaza and Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) projects. The three SOEs are the Medan Industrial Estate (KIM), Indra Karya and Virama Karya. This was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding witnessed by SOE Minister Eric Thohir on Thursday (25/11).
The signing was carried out at the collaboration pavilion booth, KIM Investment Expo 2021 in Medan Industrial Estate (KIM) 4. The agreement was signed by the Marketing and Development Director of PT Nindya Karya (Persero) Moeharmein Zein Chaniago, President Director of PT KIM Ngurah Wirawan, President Director of PT Danareksa Ari Soerono, President Director of PT Virama Karya Jusar Wanto and President Director of PT Indra Karya Milfan Rantawi.
The development of KIM Plaza will be prepared to support the needs in industrial areas. The facilities offered are an auditorium, exhibition hall, meeting room, roof garden, hotel and restaurant & cafe. Meanwhile, the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) is present as an innovation in industrial areas so that industrial waste does not pollute the water in the area. This is a water treatment process to treat liquid waste from industrial and commercial manufacturing activities into reusable water.
This collaboration project is a form of Nindya's commitment according to the "Collaboration" Moral Value to continue to synergize with other SOEs, as well as marking the start of cooperation between all parties as an agreement and understanding in the project development cooperation.
The Minister of SOEs, Eric Thohir, is very supportive in the development of industrial estates. He hopes that the development of green buildings, waste management, water treatment and the application of renewable energy can create a new healthy ecosystem, so that in the future this industrial area can compete with other large industrial areas.
