South Sulawesi Governor Conducts Ground Breaking of the Tanjung Bunga Makassar Metro Street Pedestrian Project Done by Nindya

Makassar - PT Nindya Karya (Persero) and the Provincial Government of South Sulawesi held a ground breaking activity for the Tanjung Bunga Metro Street Pedestrian Track Construction Project on Saturday (24/10). Also present to witness the event was the President Director of NINDYA, Haedar A. Karim and the Governor of South Sulawesi, Nurdin Abdullah, witnessed by the Official of the Mayor of Makassar, Rudy Djamaluddin and other government officials.

The pedestrian path project, which has a specification of 6 kilometers long, 50 meters wide with pedestrian facilities, bicycle lanes, green lanes, slow lanes and main roads, will be projected to become a new landmark of Makassar City and will become the largest road in Indonesia equivalent to Jalan Sudirman - Tahmrin in Jakarta.

As for the purpose of this project, apart from being part of urban planning, it is also a link between various economic growth points in Makassar City. On this occasion, the President Director of NINDYA expressed his hope that this project can run smoothly without obstacles, including in the field of licensing in the middle of a relatively short processing time. The Governor of South Sulawesi Nurdin Abdullah also conveyed the same thing so that the work can be completed according to the target and is committed to removing all obstacles in development.
