Support Herd Immunity; NINDYA KARYA – IKA UNHAS Holds Vaccination Center Again

JAKARTA – The second phase of the vaccination center activity organized by Nindya Karya in collaboration with the Hasanuddin University Alumni Association (IKA UNHAS) and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) was carried out on August 28-29, 2021. The activity carried out at the Nindya Building is a follow-up activity from the program Nindya Karya Vaccination Center – IKA UNHAS which was held a month ago.

The closing of this activity was attended by the General Chairperson of the UNHAS IKA, Jusuf Kala, the Chair of the UNHAS Law Faculty IKA, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, the Head of the Jabodetabek UNHAS Medical Faculty IKA, Porf. Dr. Abdul Kadir, President Director of PT Nindya Karya (Persero), Haedar A. Karim, Director of Finance and Human Resources of PT Nindya Karya (Persero), Sri Haryanto, Daily Chair of IKA UNHAS, Asmawi Syam, Secretary General of IKA UNHAS, Husain Abdullah, and Head of Family Harmony South Sulawesi, Mukhlis Patahna SH.

In his speech, Jusuf Kala expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this vaccination activity. The hope is, "the government's efforts and assisted by the community, the Covid-19 control target can be achieved, and we are grateful that now it has decreased, a sign that the efforts of the community and the government have succeeded."

Meanwhile, the Chair of the IKA UNHAS Faculty of Law, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, said "in dealing with Covid-19, it requires the togetherness of all elements of society to work together to overcome it. Presenting vaccination efforts with the spirit of mutual cooperation and a sincere heart, we can face this pandemic and hope that this pandemic will end soon."

1209 people became vaccine participants in this activity, namely 663 participants on the first day, and 546 participants on the second day. The vaccination activity organized by Nindya Karya is a form of the company's commitment to support the government's efforts to break the ropes of the spread of Covid-19 in all levels of society.
