Erick Thohir Turns AKHLAK into the Core Value of the Ministry of SOEs, What Is It?

JAKARTA, iNews.id - SOE Minister Erick Thohir changed the SOE Ministry logo as a form of new enthusiasm for transformation. In addition, he also set a new slogan in the institution he leads.
Erick said, the slogan which is the core value of the SOE Ministry was called AKHLAK. The word is an acronym of Amanah, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative.
"Today I also want to establish AKHLAK as core value, not lip service, because if we work there is core value, this makes us strong," Erick said in the launch of the new logo of the Ministry of SOEs, Wednesday (1/7/2020).
When explaining about AKHLAK, Erick stressed the importance of 'Loyalty' to the nation and state to be applied by all elements of BUMN. In addition to being loyal, the word has a broad meaning to protect the image, dignity, and dignity of the self up to the nation.
He also alluded to the number of legal cases that have been plagued by state-owned companies in the past.
"Loyalty to the nation because it works in SOEs, not personally put forward, of course the results of work such as bonuses, tantiems must, but others do not. There are 53 legal cases in SOEs that we do not want to repeat again. This is why character is important," said Erick
The former Inter Milan president also stressed the Adaptive word of the acronym. The meaning, he said, SOEs must be able to adapt to changes with Collaborative.
"We must ensure that strategic projects are carried out as the president announced yesterday in Batang, Central Java. I ask SOEs involved in Batang to be serious so that the president's direction in which employment opportunities should occur in conditions like this," he said.
