Maumere Fuel Terminal Groundbreaking

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Maumere Fuel Terminal Phase II Downstream Project was held at the Pertamina Maumere Complex, Kangae District, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This event was part of the inauguration of 13 Phase II Downstream Projects across Indonesia, centered in Cilacap, and inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto (March 29).

The Maumere Fuel Terminal is designed to have a storage capacity of approximately 70,000 kiloliters and will function as an energy distribution center or storage hub in East Nusa Tenggara. Technically, the project construction includes fuel storage tanks for Pertalite, Solar, Pertamax, and FAME, equipped with dock infrastructure, a piping system, pumping facilities, security systems, and other supporting utilities. This project is expected to strengthen energy security and improve the efficiency of fuel supply patterns in eastern Indonesia.

Nindya Karya is optimistic that the Maumere Fuel Terminal will be a modern, integrated, reliable, and sustainable terminal to strengthen national energy security in eastern Indonesia and provide high added value. It also marks Nindya Karya's commitment to building engineering-based energy infrastructure, with Nindya Karya EPC as the contractor.

The event was also attended by Hari Purnomo, Director of Downstream Optimization and Distribution at Pertamina Patra Niaga; Simon Subandi Supriadi, Deputy Regent of Sikka; Gorgonius Nago Bapa, Deputy Speaker of the Sikka Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD); Arif Putranto, Director of Operations 2 at Nindya Karya; Arif Iswadi, Senior Vice President of the Nindya Karya EPC Division; Robby Adhimukti, Vice President of Production at Nindya Karya EPC Division; and Oskar Harris, Vice President of Market Development at Nindya Karya EPC Division.
