Extended PPKM, NINDYA Distributes Basic Food Assistance for Residents Affected by COVID-19

Jakarta – With the extension of the Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), Nindya Karya distributed assistance in the form of basic necessities for residents affected by COVID-19 around the Nindya Building, East Jakarta (23/7).
Based on an official statement from the Central Government, the Java and Bali Regions have implemented Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). The implementation of this PPKM has been extended until August 2, 2021. This has an impact on physical restrictions on public activities, especially the lower middle class who are affected.
As a form of Nindya's concern for the community as well as a form of corporate social and environmental responsibility, the management of PT Nindya Karya (Persero) distributed basic food assistance to residents affected by COVID-19 around the Nindya Building, East Jakarta. The aid distributed in the form of food (sembako) to meet daily needs, as many as 300 heads of families around Nindya received the assistance directly.
Meanwhile, the Director of Finance & HR Sri Haryanto explained, through the Social & Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, all SOEs have an obligation to participate in the welfare of the community through 2 (two) sub-programs, namely, the Partnership program as a forum for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in developing business and Community Development programs which are the empowerment of the social conditions of the community by SOEs.
VP General & PKBL Deka Hardiya P. added that the social assistance was given as a form of the company's concern in helping the community. Where, during the Covid-19 pandemic as it is today, there are many people who need to be considered so that their needs can continue to be fulfilled.
