Head of BP Batam Review Expansion of Hang Nadim Airport Apron and Taxiway Done by NINDYA

BATAM - Head of Batam Concession Agency (BP) Muhammad Rudi conducted a review of a project undertaken by NINDYA, namely, the Hang Nadim Airport apron and taxiway expansion project on Wednesday (20/1).

During his visit, Muhammad Rudi said the Hang Nadim Airport area would be designed to be a hub-logistics area that could improve the economy and industry in Batam City.

"We built this airport to prepare at any time to become an airport not only for passengers, but also as a logistics hub," he said.

The new cargo apron owned by Hang Nadim Airport is 500 meters long and 150 meters wide. The apron is estimated to be able to accommodate 5 large aircraft in the class of Boeing-777.

NINDYA itself has completed the project work at the end of 2020 with the scope of work in the form of preparatory work (preliminary), earthwork, rigid pavement work for cargo apron sizes 500 mx 150 m, rigid pavement parallel taxiway pavement work, marking work, drainage work, landscaping work, electrical work as well as access road work
