Inaugurated by Minister of SOEs, Largest Convention Center in Indonesia by Nindya Karya Ready for Use

BALI - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Erick Thohir inaugurated the revitalization project of the Bali Beach Convention Center in Sanur, Denpasar City, Bali, on Tuesday (30/1). The project carried out by Nindya Karya is part of the development of the Sanur Special Economic Zone (KEK).

In his remarks, Erick Thohir said that this revitalization is a strategic step by the government to increase the competitiveness of Indonesian tourism, especially Bali.

"The Sanur KEK can be a model for the development of KEKs in other regions in Indonesia in creating an integrated health tourism ecosystem so that it can attract domestic and foreign tourists," said Erick.

The Bali Beach Convention Center has an area of ​​3,750 square meters and can accommodate 5,000 people. The largest convention center in Indonesia is ready to be used for holding meetings, conferences, and exhibitions on both a national and international scale.

Nindya Karya's Production and HSE Director, Firmansyah, who was present at the inauguration, was also proud of one of Nindya Karya's masterpieces.

"We are proud to be part of the Sanur Special Economic Zone project. Nindya Karya has deployed all resources to ensure that this project can run according to target." He said.

Bali Beach Convention Center is one of three buildings revitalized by Nindya Karya. In addition to the Convention Center, Nindya is working on the revitalization of the Grand Inna Bali Beach Hotel (now renamed The Meru), and Inna Bali Beach Garden.
