Nindya Karya is Committed to Improving the Quality of Indonesian Construction Human Resources Through an MoU with BUMN Karya

Jakarta, January 30, 2024 - Nindya Karya is committed to improving the quality of Indonesian construction human resources through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Synergy in Improving Institutional Relations in the Implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education between the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) and BUMN Karya. The signing was carried out by the Secretary General of the Ministry of PUPR, M. Zainal Fatah, and Senior Vice President of Human Capital Nindya Karya, Broto Hariadi along with other BUMN Karya Representatives, at the Main Building of the Ministry of PUPR, on Friday, January 26, 2024.

“The Public Works (PU) Polytechnic is part of the commitment of the Ministry of PUPR in forming competent, professional, highly competitive and work-ready human resources in the infrastructure sector. We want the PU Polytechnic to be one of the nodes in the infrastructure development ecosystem in Indonesia, so that through this collaboration, it is hoped that BUMN Karya can help us in preparing ready-to-use human resources according to needs in the field," said Zainal Fatah as Secretary General of the PUPR Ministry

The purpose of the MOU is to improve institutional relations and collaboration between universities and BUMN in implementing the tridharma of higher education. This initiative is a follow-up to the planned synergy cooperation between BUMN in the construction sector and the Public Works Polytechnic which specifically focuses on implementing the Certified Industrial Internship Program for students

The signing of this MoU is one of Nindya Karya's commitments in improving the quality of the nation's human resources (HR) in the construction sector. Broto Hariadi said that the signing of this MoU is expected to produce competent human resources that are in accordance with the current needs of the construction industry.

"We hope that through this MoU, we can produce the best individuals who have qualified competencies, so that they can contribute to infrastructure development in Indonesia," said Broto Hariadi.

Nindya Karya is committed to continuing to support infrastructure development in Indonesia, one of which is by improving the quality of leading construction human resources.
