Nindya Karya & Jakarta Provincial Government Collaborate on Flood Control Infrastructure

Jakarta—PT Nindya Karya has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of resilient urban infrastructure. This was demonstrated through its participation in the Contract Signing and Launching of the Jakarta Flood and Tidal Flood Control Project, held at the Great Hall of the Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta (December 24th).
This event was officially launched by the Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, and the Head of the Jakarta Water Resources Agency, Ika Agustin Ningrum. This initiative aligns with the Jakarta Provincial Government's agenda for the quincentennial of Jakarta through the implementation of the Jaktirta Project, a commitment to sustainable water management in the spirit of "Jaga Jakarta."
This project is expected to increase water control capacity in the Jakarta area through the implementation of an integrated pumping system and supporting infrastructure, minimizing the risk of inundation and flooding in strategic areas.
Through this step, PT Nindya Karya, along with other state-owned construction companies, affirms its commitment to supporting flood control programs professionally, with appropriate quality and on time, while prioritizing occupational safety and environmental sustainability, in order to realize a safer and more resilient Jakarta.
