Nindya Karya Provides Introduction and Briefing for Internship Program at Public Works Polytechnic

Semarang - Nindya Karya together with BUMN Karya collaborated with Public Works Polytechnic (PU) in preparing superior human resources who are competent in the construction sector. This collaboration was realized through the Introduction and Briefing for Internship Program activities held on Thursday, (01/02) at the Auditorium of PU Polytechnic, Semarang.

The event, which was held as a follow-up to the Signing of the MoU on Synergy to Improve Balanced Relations in the Implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education between the Ministry of Public Works and BUMN Karya, was attended by 139 students from the Water Construction Technology, Road and Bridge Technology, and Building Technology Study Programs.

Broto Hariadi, Senior Vice President of Human Capital of PT Nindya Karya, in his speech said that this program is an initiative of Nindya as part of BUMN Karya to introduce the company to students while increasing synergy between the construction industry sector and the world of education and supporting the development of young talent in Indonesia.

"Through this internship program, Nindya Karya wants to provide an opportunity for students to learn and apply the knowledge they have gained in college directly in the workplace. Students need to prepare themselves as workers who are ready to adapt to different work environments." Broto said.

Meanwhile, the Director of the PU Polytechnic, Ir. Brawijaya, S.E., M.Eng.I.E, MSCE, Ph.D welcomed the internship program offered by Nindya Karya together with BUMN Karya. According to him, collaboration between the Public Works Polytechnic and BUMN Karya in the construction industry is very necessary in order to synergize to fulfill skilled and competent construction workers.
