Nindya Karya Together with BUMN Karya held the UMK Festival

Nindya Karya together with BUMN Karya held the UMK BUMN Karya Festival which lasted for three days, from 10-12 August 2022 (10/8).

In this activity, Nindya also provided an opportunity for Nindya's Micro and Small Business Partners (UMK) to participate in promoting their products in the BUMN Karya UMK Festival. This activity is an empowerment of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSMEs) in a festival that involves all BUMN Karya fostered partners so that MSEs can get new markets that can increase their productivity.

The BUMN Karya UMK Festival was initiated by PT WIJAYA KARYA (Persero) Tbk and supported by PT Nindya Karya (Persero), PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk., PT Hutama Karya (Persero), PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., PT Yodya Karya (Persero), PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero), and Perum Perumnas.

The UMK festival is an event to introduce fostered partners from BUMN Karya to the wider community, as well as support government programs to develop MSEs and the creative world. Nindya Karya himself delegated two fostered partners in this activity, namely Warung Ondel-Ondel and IM2 Art Studio.

The activity, which was held at The Hive Building Parking lot, was attended by the Assistant Deputy for Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) of the Ministry of SOEs, Edi Eko Cahyono, the Board of Directors and TJSL Officials of BUMN Karya, as well as local government officials.

In his remarks, Assistant Deputy TJSL of the Ministry of SOEs, Edi Eko Cahyono said that the implementation of this activity was aimed at boosting the community's economy, because currently the position of MSMEs is very strategic, especially during a pandemic like this, becoming one of the crisis-resistant business sectors.

Message from Mr. Erick Thohir, Minister of SOEs regarding TJSL, that our focus this year is on three points, the first is education, the second is the environment, and the third is the development of MSEs. MSEs themselves have the largest absorption of energy and the largest Gross Domestic Product (GDP)," he said.

By providing an opportunity for fostered MSEs to participate in this BUMN Karya UMK Festival, Nindya's effort to develop MSEs by prioritizing the use of domestic products.
