Nindya Karya, Together with State-Owned Enterprise Holding Company Danareksa, Distributes Qurbani to 3,800 Families in Surabaya

Surabaya (May 28) – To commemorate Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri, PT Nindya Karya (Persero) and the State-Owned Enterprise Holding Company Danareksa partnered with the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) to distribute 14 cows and 12 goats through the "Qurban Berkah Berdayakan Desa" (Blessed Qurban to Empower Villages) program, centered at PT Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut (SIER).

This Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program is expected to strengthen food security for approximately 3,800 families in seven sub-districts within SIER's first ring, while simultaneously bolstering the people's economic chain. The number of qurbani animals distributed this year represents a 27 percent increase compared to the previous year's program in Makassar.

In addition to participating with the state-owned holding company Danareksa, Nindya Karya's TJSL (Environmental and Social Responsibility) also distributed sacrificial animals to several locations, including the Baitussyuhada Nindya Foundation and the Permata Hati Orphanage in Bogor. Through this initiative, Nindya Karya, through its TJSL program, affirms its commitment to continuously providing benefits to the community, supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, and actively playing a role in strengthening social awareness and community economic independence.
