Obtaining a New Contract, Nindya Karya is Ready to Build a Drinking Water Supply System for the People of Jakarta

JAKARTA – PT Nindya Karya has received a new contract for the construction of the Cilincing DC (Distribution Center) system transmission piping network Segment 3 Downstream System Phase 1 SPAM Regional Jatiluhur 1 DKI Jakarta Province. This project was carried out by Nindya Karya together with PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk through the Adhi – Nindya KSO Operational Cooperation.
The signing of this collaboration took place at the Office of the Directorate General of Human Settlements, Ministry of PUPR, Central Jakarta on Tuesday (4/7) and was attended by General Manager of Infrastructure Division 1 PT Nindya Karya Bambang Asmoro, General Manager of Infrastructure 1 PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk Johan Arifin, Director Drinking Water, Directorate General of Human Settlements, Ministry of PUPR, Anang Muchlis and officials from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Water Resources Service.
The scope of work for the Jatiluhur SPAM construction project, which is one of the National Strategic Projects, includes preparation work, implementation of a construction safety management system, as well as procurement and installation of transmission pipes. The Cilincing Segment 3 DC system transmission pipeline network has a pipe length of 4,545 meters with details of 915 meters of RCCP pipe and 3,730 meters of HDPE pipe. The water capacity produced is 4000 liters per second and will supply 20,000 House Connections (SR), consisting of 4000 house connections in East Jakarta and 16,000 house connections in North Jakarta.
Through this project, Nindya is contributing to reducing groundwater use in Jakarta by providing clean water infrastructure sourced from the Jati Luhur Dam. The construction of the Jatiluhur SPAM is expected to improve the quality of health of the people of Jakarta.
