Officially Started, President Jokowi Conducts Groundbreaking of Project Worked on by Nindya Karya

KARANGANYAR – The Paralympic Training Center Development Project currently being worked on by Nindya Karya officially began with the Groundbreaking by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Friday (8/3).
The project, located in Delingan Village, Karanganyar District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java, is built on 80,262 m2 of land with a building area of 34,346 m2.
President Jokowi in his speech said that the project will consist of several buildings such as, Sports Building including the main pool, Boccia, shooting range, table tennis + table tennis wheel chair, badminton court and multifunction room.
In addition, the project also has 2 towers, 5 floors of athlete dormitories with a total capacity of 188 rooms. There are also several other sports facilities such as a soccer field, a 400 m athletic track, 8 100 m running tracks, a long jump track, a shot put field and a high jump field.
The President also hopes that these facilities can be utilized by athletes to achieve better achievements.
"This sports infrastructure is built to international standards for athletes with disabilities. I hope that the training center for these para-Olympic athletes will be utilized as well as possible," said the President.
Meanwhile, Nindya Karya President Director Moeharmein Zein Chaniago said that as the executor of the construction, Nindya Karya will give its best ability in completing the project. So that the satisfaction of all parties can be achieved.
Also present to accompany the President at the event were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo, Director of Operations 2 of PT Nindya Karya Arif Putranto and Project Manager of the Paralympic Training Center Development Project Ocky Dwi Saktian Kusuma.
