President Prabowo Inaugurates Sanur Special Economic Zone, Nindya Karya Proud to Take Part in Bali Tourism Transformation

Sanur, Bali (25/6) – The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, officially inaugurated the Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Bali. The event was attended by several high-ranking state officials and industry players. This inauguration marks a new chapter in the development of the integrated health and tourism sectors in Bali.

In his speech, President Prabowo referred to the inauguration of the Sanur SEZ and the Bali International Hospital (BIH) as a major breakthrough that has never been done before. The President also expressed his appreciation to all parties who pioneered and realized the development of this special economic zone, which is set to become a world-class health service center.

Among the facilities constructed by PT Nindya Karya in the Sanur SEZ are the Bali Beach Hotel, The Meru Sanur, and the Bali Beach Convention. In its implementation, Nindya Karya ensured that the revitalization and development were carried out with high standards, prioritizing quality, sustainability, and aesthetics aligned with Bali’s local wisdom.

Nindya Karya affirmed its commitment to supporting the government in realizing the grand vision of Asta Cita, particularly in human development and strengthening the value-added-based economy. This project serves as concrete proof of how synergy between the government and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) can produce monumental achievements with a wide-reaching impact on society and the region. Moving forward, Nindya is ready to continue contributing to other strategic projects that support economic growth and national welfare.

Also present at the event were Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming and CEO of Danantara Indonesia Rosan Roeslani, Deputy Minister of SOEs and COO of Danantara Indonesia Donny Oskaria, Acting President Director of PT Nindya Karya Firmansyah, accompanied by Senior Vice President of the Building Division PT Nindya Karya Septian Pakhruddin, and Vice President of Production 2 Building Division Dheni Mahardian.
