PT Nindya Karya (Persero) and Faculty of Engineering UNHAS Sign MoU

Jakarta – PT Nindya Karya (Persero) together with the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in support of the implementation of the engineering law located on the 8th floor of the PT Nindya Karya (Persero) Head Office, Friday (20/05).

The signing was carried out by the Director of Finance, HR and Risk Management of PT Nindya Karya (Persero) Sri Haryanto and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University (FT-UH) Prof. Dr. eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, ST, MT witnessed by the President Director of PT Nindya Karya (Persero) Haedar A. Karim.

In his remarks, Haedar A. Karim stated that the presence of this collaboration has an important element in supporting the implementation of the engineering law in Indonesia as well as efforts to establish partnerships between PT Nindya Karya (Persero) and universities.

"We will include PT Nindya Karya (Persero) employees in the Engineer Professional Education Program at the Engineering Profession Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, UNHAS to obtain STRI (Engineer Registration Certificate) as a form of verification and validation of the competence of the employee concerned in the field of knowledge and experience he has, according to the mandate. Law No. 14 of 2011 concerning Engineering in Indonesia”

"In the future, we hope that this collaboration can continue through the final-level student internship program at the Faculty of Engineering UNHAS at PT Nindya Karya (Persero) according to their respective scientific backgrounds. After the end of the internship period, if the student gives satisfactory results and shows adequate competence, then he can be considered for recruitment as an employee of PT Nindya Karya (Persero)," he added.
