Underpass Dewi Sartika Depok, Nindya Karya Project Inaugurated Ridwan Kamil and Mayor of Depok

Depok - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil inaugurated the Dewi Sartika Depok Underpass which was built by PT Nindya Karya, hoping to be a solution to unravel congestion on Jalan Dewi Sartika which is on the same level as a railroad crossing, West Java (17/1/2023).
Present accompanied the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, Mayor of Depok Mohammad Idris, Head of the Highways and Spatial Planning Office of West Java Province Bambang Tirtoyuliono, and Director of Finance, HR and Risk Management of PT Nindya Karya Sri Haryanto.
In his remarks, Ridwan Kamil said the underpass could expedite vehicle traffic on Jalan Dewi Sartika. "Usually every 2 (two) minutes the vehicle stops because the train is passing, now it can go freely (through the road) without obstacles," explained Ridwan Kamil. In addition, the Governor of West Java added that the artistic ornaments on the Dewi Sartika Underpass make it one of the most beautiful underpasses in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Mayor of Depok Muhammad Idris explained regarding the financing collaboration model between the Depok city government and the West Java provincial government "The Depok city government provides a budget for land acquisition and construction costs from the West Java provincial government." Strictly speaking.
The Dewi Sartika underpass has a road length of 970 meters and a 470 meter long underpass connecting Jalan Kartini, Jalan Margonda and Jalan Raya Sawangan has been completed by PT Nindya Karya. In addition to unraveling congestion, the existence of the Underpass is expected to increase economic growth in the city of Depok.
