Visiting Nindya Karya's Antara Project, Erick Thohir: Awesome!

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir visited the Pasar Baru Intermediary Complex Development project by Nindya Karya on Jl. Antara Kav 53-61 Central Jakarta, on Sunday (18/02). During his visit, Erick was accompanied by the President Director of PT Nindya Karya Moeharmein Zein Chaniago, Project Manager of the Pasar Baru Intermediary Complex Development Project Willy Aryansah and the President Director of Perum LKBN Antara Akhmad Munir as well as the leadership of LKBN Antara.

Erick Thohir directly reviewed the renovation and construction process of the building which has been ongoing since December 2022 and is targeted for completion in April 2024. He appreciated Nindya Karya's performance as the project's implementing contractor and hoped that the renovation could go according to plan.

"Awesome!" Erick said when he saw firsthand the results of Nindya Karya's work in the renovation and construction project of this historic press building in Indonesia. On that occasion, Erick had the opportunity to pay attention to the teak wood panels in Adam Malik's office which have been around since 1920 and are more than 100 years old which were successfully maintained and restored by PT Nindya Karya. "We maintain the original teak wood panels by restoring and re-staining them." Explained the Project Manager of the Perantaraan Complex Development Project Willy Aryansah.

The visit of the BUMN minister was in order to see the Journalistic Photo Exhibition in the 2024 National Press Day Celebration organized by LKBN Antara with the title "Press, Democracy, and Development" in the Gallery Room of the ANTARA Heritage Center Complex or formerly known as the ANTARA Pasar Baru Building, Jakarta, Sunday.
